Paris is proud to host the 19th edition of the International Tournament of Paris (TIP), a major sporting event that promotes a certain vision of sport: more open, more inclusive, and deeply human. Created by the LGBT+ Sports Federation, the TIP brings together thousands of athletes from around the world each year around a simple conviction: no one should ever have to choose between their passion for sport and the right to be themselves.
Everyone should be able to practice their sport freely, with respect for their identity and individuality. This is what Paris stands for — and will always stand for — against all forms of discrimination. Sport must be a space for empowerment and confidence, not a place of exclusion.
The TIP fully embodies this ambition. Through the diversity of the sports represented, the commitment of its volunteers, and the energy it brings to the entire capital, this tournament has become a key event in Paris’s sporting and community calendar. It demonstrates the power of sport to create connections and bring together people from different backgrounds through shared emotions.
The City of Paris is delighted to open the doors of City Hall to the TIP Village and to support an event that gives concrete expression to the values of respect and inclusion. At a time when discrimination and hate speech are becoming increasingly normalized, hosting the TIP is a strong commitment to solidarity and hope.
To all participants, associations, organizers, volunteers, supporters, and fans: welcome to Paris! May this 2026 edition be a great celebration of sport and freedom.
It is with great pleasure that I address these few words to you on the occasion of the 18th edition of the TIP.
Soon, thousands of you will gather to share your passion and to carry an essential message: LGBTphobia, like racism, ableism, and all forms of discrimination, has no place either in sport or in our society.
The strength of the TIP lies in its diversity: the diversity of sports disciplines represented, but also the diversity of the participants’ backgrounds and experiences. It is this richness that makes this event such a unique and inspiring moment.
The City of Paris will remain fully committed to supporting LGBT+ clubs and associations, in order to make sport a truly accessible right for everyone, whether in mixed or non-mixed settings.
I would like to commend the commitment of the LGBT+ Sports Federation, the associations, the volunteers, and the partners who make this tournament possible with remarkable energy.
May this edition be, for each and every one of you, a time for meeting others, pushing your limits, and sharing joy — and a reminder that sport is a powerful vehicle for inclusion.
I wish you all an excellent tournament!
Promoting Equality Through Sport
So that Paris can be a city of sport for everyone!
As the newly appointed Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of sports, sports facilities, and equal access to sport, I am delighted that our city is hosting the 19th edition of the International Tournament of Paris (TIP).
Organized by the LGBT+ Sports Federation, the TIP embodies the values that Paris consistently defends both in sport and beyond: equality, inclusion, empowerment, and solidarity.
A 2022 study conducted by the LGBT+ Sports Federation in partnership with Ipsos found that 52% of LGBT+ people had personally experienced homophobic or transphobic behavior. In light of this, our commitment as a public institution must remain unwavering and relentless in defending these values and fighting, without compromise, against all forms of LGBT-phobic behavior and discrimination.
This commitment cannot be fully effective unless it is also embraced with the same determination by the world of sport, at both amateur and professional levels.
The 2026 edition of the TIP promises a rich three-day program from May 22 to 24, notably at Paris City Hall. Thanks to the extraordinary work of the Federation’s teams and volunteers, around 3,000 athletes from more than 28 nationalities will take part, representing nearly 30 different sports disciplines.
Ensuring equal access to sport as a condition for equality through sport lies at the heart of my mission. You can therefore count on my absolute determination.
Paris is — and will remain — the capital of all prides!

In 2026, the International Tournament of Paris (TIP) more than ever embodies the commitment of the FSGLBT+ to inclusive, supportive, and activist sport. At a time when the rights of LGBTQIA+ people are under threat in many countries, and inequalities persist in the world of sport, our event takes on an essential international dimension. It stands as a powerful symbol: that of a sport accessible to everyone, regardless of origin, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
This year, we celebrate unity in diversity, through competitions designed to promote fairness, respect for differences, and the fight against all forms of discrimination. The TIP is not just a competition; it is a space where every participant can thrive, challenge themselves, and share common values: openness, kindness, and commitment.
We are proud to count on the unwavering support of our institutional, sporting, and community partners, who, like us, believe in the transformative power of sport. Above all, we pay tribute to the tireless energy of our volunteers, without whom none of this would be possible. Their passion and dedication make the TIP far more than a tournament: a unique human experience carrying hope and change.
Together, let us continue to make sport a driver of inclusion and social connection.
We are delighted to welcome you to this 19th edition of the International Tournament of Paris, organized by the LGBT+ Sports Federation. Nearly ten months of work, carried out by a team of 25 volunteers, have made it possible to bring this major and unmissable sporting event to life in the heart of the French capital. More than 3,300 athletes are taking part in this year’s edition, allowing us to reach a record-breaking level of participation. Thank you all!
The TIP Village is once again being hosted in the magnificent reception halls of Paris City Hall. We would like to warmly thank the Mayor of Paris, along with his teams, for their availability and continued commitment alongside us. More than 50 sports venues across several districts of Paris have been made available for this edition.
Of course, this event would not exist without the dedication of the 900 volunteers working throughout these three days to bring the competitions to life and create the festive atmosphere surrounding them.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Dôme de Paris is opening its doors wide to celebrate the closing of the TIP in style, with a completely redesigned show and an improved bar organization featuring no fewer than seven bars. Our sincere thanks go to the teams at the Dôme de Paris for their support in making this memorable evening possible.
A huge thank you as well to all our sponsors and partners, who are wholeheartedly supporting us throughout this incredible adventure. We would also like to thank our committed, caring, and ever-available patron and ambassador, who proudly embody the values of the TIP.
Finally, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to all of you for your presence and trust throughout these three days.
That certainly is a lot of thank-yous — but every single one is well deserved. ^^
With friendship and sportsmanship,
A word from the institutions
